What makes this release special?

The Air Jordan 3 revolutionized the NBA sneaker world by introducing the visible Air unit, snakeskin, and the Jumpman logo. The “Pure Money” edition was originally launched in 2007 as a minimalist counterpart to the “Black Cat,” quickly becoming a collector's classic. Now, almost 18 years later, it returns – this time in adult, kid, toddler, and preschool sizes, making the model more accessible for the whole family by Jordan Brand.

 

Design and details

The design stays true to the original model with a white tumbled leather upper, complemented by metallic silver on the eyelets, Jumpman logos, and heel tab. The signature elephant print again adorned the toe and heel, this time more subtly with a lighter beige tint. The midsole contains a visible Air unit, finished with a slightly yellowed look for a retro feel. The “Pure $” embroidery under the heel tab is present again, a nice detail for longtime fans.

Release information

The Air Jordan 3 “Pure Money” releases on Thursday, July 3, 2025. The releases take place worldwide via the Nike SNKRS app, Nike.com, and selected Jordan retailers, including Foot Locker, Concepts, and other SNKRS-select stores.

The adult version costs €210, the GS version €150. Given the history of the colorway, expect a quick sellout – make sure your SNKRS alerts are on and you enter raffles on time.
