In 2005, Undefeated was the very first boutique ever to design its own colorway in collaboration with Jordan Brand. This resulted in an ultra-exclusive Air Jordan 4 of which only 72 pairs were made. This colorway was never sold through regular stores but was distributed exclusively as a Friends & Family edition. The sneaker thus became a holy grail among collectors. In 2025, exactly twenty years later, this design returns in a retro version that stays true to the original but is now more widely available. The collaboration is not only a tribute to the past but also an opportunity for new generations to acquire an iconic piece of sneaker heritage.

 

Design and details

The sneaker features an olive green nubuck upper, with black TPU details on the wingtips, heel, and eyestays. The classic Nike Air logo adorns the heel, while the tongue has a removable velcro patch with Undefeated branding. The orange interior and outsole details reference the MA-1 flight jacket, a clear nod to the military theme of the original. The midsole is done in black and sail, with a visible Air unit in clementine orange.

The Jordan 4 Retro OG SP Undefeated is expected in August 2025 via Undefeated.com and selected Undefeated stores worldwide. After the Undefeated drop itself, a wider release will follow through various retailers and a SNKRS drop. Sales will be partly via raffles and partly first-come-first-served.
